The St. Albert Photography Club has been a thriving organization since 1992. We offer many opportunities to learn and shoot; both indoors and outdoors. We welcome adult photographers of all skill levels; we love to meet new people. The only prerequisite is a passion to learn and strive to improve your art.

Our aim is to offer a place for photo enthusiasts to learn and to share across the diverse realms of photography. Please join in our journey!

Speaker Nights

Learn from experts. Listen to the stories behind the photos. Our monthly speaker nights are always interesting, and our executive works hard to book a variety of presentations from both experienced amateurs and professionals.

Learn all about various subjects during our monthly workshops. Gear, photographic techniques, genres, printing, framing, photographic basics, etc.
There is something for everyone and you may even get your hands dirty.

Submission Nights

Our members meet for our monthly submission night; a friendly competition. Gain inspiration from the images of others. Get feedback on images you submit. Enjoy the camaraderie of your fellow members. Vote for your favourite images!

Social Events

Connect with other members and make some new friends. The club typically arranges special dinner outings for Christmas and an end-of-year event in the spring. Impromptu outings for coffee or a photo shoot have also been known to occur!

Our club members enjoy
giving back to the community
however we can.
Many photos have been
taken in support
of various programs in the
St. Albert Community.

The 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month. We do not meet during July or August. Always check the calendar for possible changing venues for workshops.

Red Willow Community Church in St. Albert. Of course, outings, social events and some workshops, can be at various locations.

We provide a hybrid format for speaker nights and submission nights. Unfortunately, we will not be offering online participation for workshops.
Some Special Interest Groups (SIGs) may also choose to meet online.

Full year membership (Sep-Jun) $75
Late start membership (Jan-Jun) $45

Absolutely! . . . honestly. The speaker nights alone are worthy of the membership fee.
